Confusion has arisen over the dates for celebrating Dussehra, Kumar Purnima and Gajalaxmi Puja in Odisha this year due to differences in lunar timings and traditional methods of determining auspicious occasions. While some rituals will be observed on October 20 and 21, Kumar Purnima celebrations have also raised questions over whether devotees should follow October 25 or October 26.
