Sharp Rise in Gold Prices on March 25, 2026
Gold and silver prices have witnessed a strong surge once again in India. On March 25, 2026, the price of 24-carat gold crossed ₹1.44 lakh per 10 grams, compared to below ₹1.40 lakh a day earlier, indicating a sharp upward trend in the bullion market.
Strong Recovery in Futures Market
In the domestic futures market, trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) showed a strong recovery. Gold futures for April 2, 2026 expiry rose by around ₹5,400 during trading, reflecting renewed investor interest.
