Apple has started selling its new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models in India, drawing long queues of customers outside Apple Stores in Delhi, Noida, Bengaluru and Maharashtra.
Several customers reportedly reached the stores as early as 5 am to be among the first buyers of the latest iPhone models. In Bengaluru, a customer named Rahul said he had been waiting in the queue since 5 am. He described the annual iPhone launch as a festival-like occasion for him.
Long queues were also witnessed in Noida, where customers waited outside the Apple Store to purchase the new devices. One customer who travelled from Punjab said he had been standing in the queue since 6 am and eventually purchased two iPhone 18 Pro Max units.
In Maharashtra, another customer said he waited for around 10 to 12 hours to become the first person to purchase the new iPhone from the store.
iPhone 18 Pro Starts at Rs 1,64,900
The iPhone 18 Pro 256GB model is priced at Rs 1,64,900 in India. The 256GB variant of the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900, while the price of the top-end model goes up to Rs 3,29,900.
The new iPhone 18 Pro series is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip. The smartphones feature a 48-megapixel Fusion main camera along with a variable aperture system.
The iPhone 18 Pro series is available in Black, Silver, Glacier and a new Burgundy colour option.
The strong customer turnout at Apple Stores across several cities marks significant interest in Apple’s latest premium smartphone lineup, with buyers willing to wait for several hours to get their hands on the new models.
