Popular YouTuber and educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has surrendered before the Patna Civil Court in connection with a firing incident linked to a coaching centre dispute in Bihar. The development comes a day after an FIR was registered against him, triggering an extensive police search operation across the city.
Khan Sir is facing serious charges, including attempt to murder and violations under the Arms Act, according to police sources.
Court Appearance and Possible Bail Application
Khan Sir appeared before the Patna Civil Court along with his legal counsel. Sources indicate that he may also move a bail application following his surrender.

The case has also sparked controversy over alleged delays in police action. A rival coaching institute representative, Varun Thakur of Gyanbindu Coaching Centre, questioned the administration’s handling of the case.
He alleged that while the head of another coaching centre was arrested promptly in a related matter, there appeared to be delay in action against Khan Sir, raising concerns of unequal treatment. He warned of protests if the investigation is not conducted impartially.
FIR Based on Guard’s Statement
Police officials confirmed that the FIR was filed following statements made by guards previously arrested in the case. The guards reportedly claimed that they acted on instructions allegedly given by Khan Sir during the firing incident.
Based on these statements, the police initiated further investigation and intensified search operations.
Overnight Police Searches at Coaching Centre
