 In a groundbreaking milestone, Dr. Jamini Jhankar, a student of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), has been awarded her Ph.D. from KISS-Deemed to be University (KISS-DU), the only tribal university in the world. She is the first scholar from the Chuktia Bhunjia Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) to achieve this distinction.
