The producer of the National Film Award-winning Odia movie Lahari, Jhilik Bhattacharya, along with other members of the film’s team, met Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Governor interacted with the Lahari team and congratulated them on the film’s national recognition. He said the achievement was a matter of pride for Odisha and appreciated the efforts of everyone associated with the film.
The Governor also extended his best wishes to the team for their future projects and encouraged filmmakers to continue producing meaningful and impactful films.
He advised the filmmakers to use cinema as a medium to inspire the younger generation and create a positive impact on society. The Governor also appreciated the team’s contribution towards promoting Odia cinema at the national level.
The courtesy meeting provided an opportunity for the Lahari team to share their experiences and exchange views with the Governor following the film’s recognition at the national level.
