The Odisha Uniformed Services Selection Commission (OUSSSC) has announced that the recruitment process for constable-level posts and services under the Odisha Police and other departments has commenced.
At the same time, candidates who applied for the 2024 Sub-Inspector (SI) examination have been advised to remain prepared, as the cancelled examination is expected to be conducted soon.
The Commission has informed applicants and aspiring candidates that necessary preparations are underway for the conduct of the SI examination. Candidates are therefore advised to keep track of official notifications and remain ready for further updates regarding the examination schedule.
Meanwhile, OUSSSC has initiated the recruitment process for constable-level posts and services under Odisha Police and other departments. A detailed recruitment advertisement is expected to be released shortly.

The Commission has also stated that necessary steps are being taken on a priority basis to expedite the examination process for the Combined Police Service Examination (CPSE)-2024.
The decision has been taken after taking into consideration the applications already received for CPSE-2024. The Commission is working to move the recruitment process forward at the earliest, providing relief to candidates who have been waiting for the examination to be conducted.
