The cybersecurity training institute will strengthen the RBI’s capacity to address emerging digital threats and technological challenges. It will serve as a dedicated institutional platform for cybersecurity training, enterprise technology education, research and the development of specialised skills.

The institute will also focus on advanced technologies relevant to the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, including quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

The initiative is expected to support technological advancement, strengthen cybersecurity capabilities and improve the resilience of India’s financial ecosystem.
