Registration Begins for Amarnath Yatra 2026; Pilgrimage to Start from July 3

Online and Offline Registration Opens with New Rules and Safety Measures for Pilgrims

Registration Process Kicks Off
The registration process for the Amarnath Yatra 2026 has officially begun from April 15. Pilgrims can register for the sacred journey through both online and offline modes for the two main routes—Pahalgam and Baltal.

Yatra Schedule Announced
According to the office of Manoj Sinha, the annual pilgrimage will commence on July 3, 2026, and conclude on August 28, coinciding with the festival of Raksha Bandhan. This year, the yatra will span a total of 57 days.

Age and Health Criteria for Pilgrims
Authorities have set strict eligibility criteria for devotees. Individuals below 13 years and above 70 years of age will not be allowed to register. Additionally, pilgrims must obtain a mandatory health certificate from an authorized doctor or medical institution approved by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board. Pregnant women beyond six weeks are also not permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.

New Changes in Registration System
A major change has been introduced in the registration process this year. Pilgrims who register early will be given priority, as a daily cap on the number of pilgrims has been fixed. Biometric-based permits will also be issued to ensure better tracking and security.

Massive Preparations Underway for Safety
The administration has begun extensive preparations to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage. Enhanced security arrangements, improved facilities, and better व्यवस्थापन systems are being put in place for the thousands of devotees expected to participate.

One of the Holiest Hindu Pilgrimages
The Amarnath Yatra, held annually in Jammu and Kashmir, is one of the most revered pilgrimages in Hinduism. Every year, thousands of devotees undertake this spiritual journey to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva at the holy Amarnath cave.

Devotees Gear Up for Spiritual Journey
With the registration process now open, devotees across the country are preparing to embark on this sacred journey once again, marking a renewed expression of faith and devotion.
