However, it was an informal lunch hosted by Balangir MP Sangeeta Singh Deo that has stirred political buzz, bringing internal party discontent into focus.

MPs Air Grievances Over Governance Issues

The private lunch gathering at Singh Deo’s residence was attended by CM Majhi, state BJP president Manmohan Samal, and several BJP MPs from Odisha. Sources reveal that the MPs used the opportunity to raise their concerns over delayed problem resolution in their constituencies and the lack of responsiveness from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

This follows a similar gathering last month at Keonjhar MP Ananta Nayak’s residence, where frustrations were voiced over bureaucratic indifference and the perceived lack of coordination between elected representatives and the administration.

During the lunch, MPs reportedly urged Majhi to address public grievances more promptly and ensure closer cooperation between the political leadership and bureaucrats.
