<p data-start="61" data-end="330">The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 examination results. Students can now check their scores through the official websites — cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in — as well as through the UMANG app and DigiLocker platform.</p>
<p data-start="332" data-end="439">More than 18 lakh students across the country had been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the results.</p>
<h2 data-section-id="1rug7jh" data-start="441" data-end="484">Overall Pass Percentage Stands at 85.20%</h2>
<p data-start="486" data-end="675">This year, the overall pass percentage in the CBSE Class 12 examinations stands at 85.20 percent. However, the pass percentage has witnessed a decline of 3.19 percent compared to last year.</p>
<p data-start="677" data-end="791">Out of the 17,68,968 students who appeared for the examination, a total of 15,07,109 students successfully passed.</p>
<h2 data-section-id="ebu9cj" data-start="793" data-end="826">Girls Perform Better Than Boys</h2>
<p data-start="828" data-end="939">Continuing the trend from previous years, girls have once again outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 12 results.</p>

<li data-section-id="1xz6mye" data-start="976" data-end="1009">Pass percentage of boys: 82.13%</li>

<p data-start="1011" data-end="1112">The significant gap highlights the strong academic performance of female students across the country.</p>
<h2 data-section-id="ulf924" data-start="1114" data-end="1156">Thiruvananthapuram Region Tops the List</h2>
<p data-start="1158" data-end="1317">Among all CBSE zones, the Thiruvananthapuram region recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.62 percent, emerging as the best-performing zone in the country.</p>
<h2 data-section-id="12hxfwb" data-start="1319" data-end="1361">Results Available on Multiple Platforms</h2>
<p data-start="1363" data-end="1447">Students can access their marksheets and scorecards through the following platforms:</p>

<h2 data-section-id="40qh8m" data-start="1675" data-end="1717">Examination Conducted Earlier This Year</h2>
<p data-start="1719" data-end="1873">The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations began on February 18 this year and witnessed participation from more than 45 lakh students across India.</p>
<p data-start="1875" data-end="2008">The examinations continued till March 10. Later, the second phase of board examinations for certain categories commenced from May 15.</p>
<p data-start="2010" data-end="2228" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Earlier, CBSE had declared the Class 10 results on April 15, where girls had also outperformed boys. Odisha students Tina Rath and Alisha Biswal had secured a perfect score of 500 out of 500 marks, emerging as toppers.</p>
