Results Announced on Official Website
The results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 Board Examination 2026 have been officially released. Students can check their results on the board’s official website cbse.gov.in using their login credentials.

Exams Conducted in February–March 2026
The CBSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026. Nearly 25 lakh students appeared for the examination across various centres in India and abroad.

Slight Increase in Pass Percentage
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 93.70%, showing a marginal increase of 0.04% compared to last year’s 93.66%. The board completed evaluation of answer sheets in record time and declared the results nearly a month earlier than usual.

Girls Outperform Boys Again
As in previous years, girls have outperformed boys in the overall pass rate. However, CBSE has not released an official toppers list this year. Instead, students securing top marks in specific subjects will be awarded merit certificates.

No Official Toppers List This Year
The board has chosen not to publish a centralized toppers list. Instead, recognition will be given to students who have achieved exceptional scores in individual subjects through merit certificates.

Compartment Exam and Re-evaluation Option
Students who failed in one or two subjects or are not satisfied with their marks need not worry. CBSE will conduct the second board examination from May 15, 2026. The application process for the same will begin soon.

Digital Access via Website and DigiLocker
Apart from the official website, students can also access their results through DigiLocker. Digital marksheets can be downloaded instantly using login details such as roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and security PIN.
