“My son is extremely critical. He is fighting for his life inside the ICU. There has been no improvement. I am praying to God and begging the people of Odisha and the government to help us. We want to shift him outside the state, but we don’t have the money. Please save my son.”

• Severe Multi-Organ Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS), affecting the brain, lungs, kidneys, liver, and blood clotting functions

• Acute on Chronic Liver Failure (ACLF)

• Bilateral Pneumonia, causing serious lung infection

• Dilated Cardiomyopathy, where the heart’s pumping function is drastically reduced

• Acute respiratory failure, requiring ventilatory support

He is currently under the constant supervision of senior intensivist and ECMO specialist Dr. Srikanta Behera inside the MICU, where a team of specialists is battling to stabilise him.
