In a significant leadership development, the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has appointed Shri K.J. Patel as its new Managing Director. The announcement was made by IFFCO Chairman Shri Dileep Sanghani, who expressed strong confidence in Patel’s ability to lead the organization into a new era of innovation and growth.

K.J. Patel Brings Over Three Decades of Industry Expertise

Shri K.J. Patel, who previously served as Director (Technical) at IFFCO, is a seasoned professional with over 32 years of experience in the fertilizer industry. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Saurashtra University, he has specialized in the maintenance of both Nitrogenous and Phosphatic fertilizer plants.

Patel is widely recognized for his contributions to operational efficiency and sustainable growth. Notably, he has led IFFCO’s Paradeep Plant—the largest complex fertilizer facility in India—further solidifying his reputation as a capable and visionary leader.

This ranking was published by EURICSE and the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), underscoring IFFCO’s impactful role in agricultural development and cooperative empowerment.
