Nagar with 44 mm, Balimundali with 40.8 mm, and Jashipur with 37.5 mm. Several other areas in the state also experienced rainfall accompanied by intermittent showers.</p>

<p data-start="1198" data-end="1456">Due to the possibility of thunderstorms and heavy showers in Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar districts, the Meteorological Department has issued a <strong data-start="1338" data-end="1354">yellow alert</strong> for these areas. Citizens are advised to exercise caution and stay updated with weather advisories.</p>

<p data-start="1483" data-end="1767">In the past 24 hours, the hottest city recorded was Jharsuguda at 40.6°C, followed closely by Hirakud at 40.2°C. Sambalpur recorded 39.9°C, Rourkela 38.8°C, and Bhubaneswar 34.2°C. Despite rainfall in several areas, daytime temperatures remain relatively high in parts of the state.</p>
