The Russia-Ukraine war has intensified, with both sides carrying out major drone and missile attacks. Ukraine launched a large-scale drone assault on Russia on Sunday, with Russian authorities reporting that 822 Ukrainian drones targeted 17 regions.
Russian air defence systems intercepted most of the drones, but the attacks reportedly caused significant damage. At least six people were killed in the strikes, according to Russian authorities.
One of the major incidents involved a fire at a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest e-commerce company. The attack reportedly disrupted parts of the country’s domestic supply chain and caused substantial losses to the company and its sellers. Ukraine has claimed that some Wildberries warehouses are used by the Russian military to store and transport military equipment, including drone components, bulletproof vests and helmets.

Russia also launched missile and drone attacks on several Ukrainian cities, including Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The attacks reportedly killed two people and injured 14 others.
A major steel plant in Kryvyi Rih was also damaged. The facility, operated by ArcelorMittal, suffered damage to its power generation facilities and blast furnace infrastructure.
Zelenskyy said Russia has intensified its aerial attacks over the past week, launching more than 1,550 drones, 1,560 aerial bombs and 62 missiles against Ukraine.
The latest escalation comes as both countries continue to target military, industrial and infrastructure facilities, raising fresh concerns over the intensifying conflict.
