Campaigning Ends Ahead of Phase 1 Polls
Campaigning for the first phase of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Election concluded on Wednesday evening. Voting will be held on April 23 (Thursday) across 152 Assembly constituencies in 16 districts of West Bengal.

Polling Schedule and Result Date
After the first phase, voting for the remaining seats will take place on April 29. The results for West Bengal, along with Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, will be announced on May 4.

High-Voltage Contest Between TMC and BJP
The elections are witnessing an intense contest between the ruling All India Trinamool Congress led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Several key constituencies such as Siliguri, Darjeeling, Cooch Behar, Raiganj, Balurghat, Malda, Murshidabad, Asansol, Bankura, and Berhampore will vote in this phase.
