Historic Win in Nuapada By-Poll: BJP Credits Workers, Strategy, and Public Trust
BJP Leaders Mohan Majhi and Manmohan Samal credit disciplined groundwork and public trust for Nuapada by-poll victory.

In a remarkable turnaround from past setbacks, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a historic victory in the Nuapada by-election. Leaders stated that earlier defeats—when the party had no agents in many polling booths—served as an important lesson. This time, strengthened planning, disciplined teamwork, and improved booth-level coordination led to a record mandate from the people of Nuapada.
Public Rejects Opposition Misinformation
Throughout the campaign, the BJD and Congress allegedly spread misinformation, using terms like “vote theft” and “betrayal” to influence voters. The people of Nuapada rejected these claims and delivered a decisive victory for the BJP.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said the outcome reflects a major political shift in Odisha and shows the growing trust of people in the BJP’s governance model.
He also reacted to remarks from Congress leaders, stating that if they act against internal “Bibhishans,” their party—already struggling—may collapse further.
Strategy, Teamwork, and Ground Mobilisation
State BJP President Manmohan Samal credited the historic win to the dedication and disciplined efforts of party workers. A detailed plan covering parliamentary to panchayat levels was executed effectively. He emphasized that this victory belongs to the people and the karyakartas who worked tirelessly at the grassroots.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi reassured that every promise made to the people of Nuapada will be implemented. Development projects, including irrigation and livelihood initiatives, will be taken up on priority. “Nuapada’s development is my responsibility,” he stated.
Support from Chhattisgarh Boosted Campaign
Due to Nuapada’s border proximity, assistance from BJP leaders across Chhattisgarh also strengthened the campaign effort. The Odisha leadership expressed gratitude for the cross-border support that helped boost momentum.
