Government to Reopen Subhadra Portal
The government is set to reopen the application process for the Subhadra Scheme, offering a fresh opportunity for eligible women to register. The Subhadra portal will be opened soon and will remain active for one month, allowing new applicants to submit their forms and become beneficiaries of the scheme.
Initiative for Women’s Empowerment
The Subhadra Scheme is a flagship initiative of the state government aimed at promoting the economic empowerment and self-reliance of women. Through this program, the government seeks to include a larger number of eligible beneficiaries and extend financial support to improve their livelihood.
Application Timeline Announced
As per official approval, the portal will start accepting new applications from April 1 and will remain open until April 30. During this period, eligible women who have not applied earlier can submit their applications through designated channels.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Women and girls aged between 21 and 60 years as of April 1, 2026, are eligible to apply under the scheme. Only those who have not previously applied will be allowed to submit new applications during this period.
Financial Assistance for Beneficiaries
Eligible beneficiaries under the Subhadra Scheme will receive a total financial assistance of ₹10,000 annually, disbursed in two installments. The payments are expected to be credited during festive occasions such as Holi and Raksha Bandhan starting from the financial year 2026–27.
Application Process and Guidelines
Applications can be submitted through Common Service Centres (CSC) and Ama Seva Kendras (ASK) via the Subhadra portal.
