Lord Jagannath comes out of His temple once every year to bless all devotees, including those who cannot enter the temple.

Rath Yatra symbolises Lord Jagannath’s annual journey to the Gundicha Temple, believed to be His birthplace and the home of His aunt.

The Lord appears in the iconic Goti Pahandi, gracefully swaying with His ceremonial Tahia as devotees chant “Jai Jagannath.”

Lord Jagannath is known as the Lord of the Universe, welcoming people of every caste, creed, religion and nationality with compassion.
