Free Health Check-up and Awareness Camp Held in Berhampur to Mark Dr Arjun Sahu’s 11th Death Anniversary

A free dental and general health check-up and awareness camp was organised by the Doctors’ Forum, Berhampur, to mark the 11th death anniversary of its founder, late Dr Arjun Sahu.

Free Health Services for Local Residents

The health camp was held at the Doctors’ Forum office premises at Babajitota Sahi in Berhampur from 8 am to 11 am on September 16.

Local residents, along with several senior members of the Arjun Has Club, participated in the programme and availed themselves of free dental and general health check-up services. The participants were also provided with health awareness guidance during the camp.

Doctors’ Forum Brings Together Medical Professionals

The Doctors’ Forum, Berhampur, is a prominent healthcare organisation in Odisha that brings together experienced doctors from recognised systems of medicine, including allopathy, homoeopathy and Ayurveda.

The camp was conducted under the supervision of Doctors’ Forum General Secretary Dr Atulya Kumar Pattnaik, Dr Ramachandra Rath, Treasurer Dr Samarendra Kumar Sahu, dental specialist Dr Sanskruti Kumari Sahu and Dr C.H. Gandhi Chaudhury.

Monthly Health Camps Announced

During the programme, Dr Samarendra Kumar Sahu, on behalf of the main sponsor, Satyarjun Foundation, announced that similar free health check-up and awareness camps would be organised regularly.

According to the announcement, the camps will be held on the third Sunday of every month, providing residents with access to basic health screening and awareness services.

Two-Minute Silence for Dr Arjun Sahu

At the conclusion of the programme, members, guests and well-wishers observed a two-minute silence and offered prayers for the eternal peace and salvation of the departed soul of late Dr Arjun Sahu.

The programme was organised as a tribute to the founder of the Doctors’ Forum and to carry forward his contribution to community healthcare and public awareness.
