The seventh edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) 2026 concluded successfully at MAYFAIR Sanctuary in Bhubaneswar, marking another major step in the state’s efforts to strengthen its tourism ecosystem and attract new business opportunities.
Organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in partnership with FICCI, the three-day event brought together more than 200 buyers and over 100 tourism businesses from India and abroad.

Over 9,000 Business Meetings
The event witnessed participation from 145 domestic tour operators representing 32 cities and 45 international tour operators from 27 countries. More than 9,000 structured B2B and B2G meetings were facilitated, helping tourism enterprises connect with new markets, travel partners and potential business opportunities.
Odisha showcased its diverse tourism offerings, including heritage, spirituality, beaches, wildlife, nature, adventure, culture, tribal experiences and cuisine.

Focus on Tourism Investment
Investment promotion was another key highlight of OTB 2026. Around 40 leading national hospitality brands and 250 state-based investors participated in discussions on tourism and hospitality investment opportunities.
The state government highlighted its efforts to create a favourable investment environment through progressive policies, incentives, land availability, streamlined clearances and investor facilitation.

Odisha Promotes MICE Tourism
The event also focused on developing Odisha as a destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE). A high-level roundtable discussed infrastructure, professional services, policy support and strategies to attract major national and international business events.
The Odisha MICE Incentive Portal was also inaugurated during the event to facilitate applications for eligible financial incentives.
Culture, Cuisine and Destination Experiences
Celebrity Chef and Odisha’s Official Brand Ambassador for Odia Cuisine, Ranveer Brar, highlighted the state’s culinary heritage. Eight familiarisation (FAM) tours were organised, allowing hosted buyers and tourism professionals to explore diverse destinations and experiences across Odisha.
The successful conclusion of OTB 2026 further strengthens Odisha Travel Bazaar as an important platform connecting tourism businesses, buyers, investors and industry stakeholders.
