In a fervent display of political prowess, BJP and BJD candidates, Murali Sharma and Sanatan Mahakud respectively, filed their nomination papers for the upcoming Champua assembly constituency election on Monday, May 1st, 2024.

Accompanied by a formidable entourage including Union Minister Phaguun Singh Pulastee, BJP candidate Murali Sharma exuded confidence as he submitted his nomination to Sub Collector and Returning Officer Sushanta Kumar Majhi. Sharma, buoyed by local BJP leaders and supporters, declared a forthcoming change in Odisha’s governance, vowing to tackle unemployment and leverage DMF funds for Champua’s development.

 

Meanwhile, BJD’s Sanatan Mahakud made a grand entrance, leading a spirited rally of over ten thousand supporters to the Sub Collector’s office. Amidst drumbeats and fireworks, Mahakud asserted his dominance, predicting a landslide victory in the impending election.
