Government Measures to Ensure Energy and Resource Security

PM Modi highlighted that the government has formed a special ministerial group to closely monitor the situation. “Efforts are underway to mitigate the impact of the conflict, ensuring uninterrupted supply of essential resources like gas and fertilizer to farmers,” he stated. The government is also coordinating the logistics for transportation and storage of these supplies to avoid disruptions.

Safeguarding Indian Citizens Abroad

The Prime Minister noted that over 3.75 lakh Indians have returned safely to India since the conflict began, including more than 1,000 from Iran.
