The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the world’s largest political party, is celebrating its 46th Foundation Day today. The party was established on April 6, 1980, marking over four decades of its journey in Indian politics.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Extends Greetings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted party workers and supporters on the occasion. In a social media post, he stated that the BJP has always been guided by the principle of “Nation First.”

He emphasized that the party’s dedicated workers have played a crucial role in serving society with commitment, devotion, and good governance. The Prime Minister added that BJP continues to place public welfare at the center of its vision and remains committed to building a developed India.

Amit Shah Highlights Ideological Roots

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his wishes, recalling that the BJP was founded on the nationalist ideals of Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Deendayal Upadhyaya.

He noted that the party’s formation was not just a political event but a pledge to rebuild the nation. Shah highlighted that under Modi’s leadership, the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” has been realized, strengthening democracy through good governance and transparency.

Odisha CM Mohan Majhi Sends Wishes

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated party workers and supporters, calling the BJP a living ideology rooted in sacrifice, values, and nationalism.

He stated that the party’s growth is not merely about power but reflects a continuous journey of service and cultural values. Majhi credited the dedication and unity of party workers for ushering in a new era of development in Odisha and urged continued commitment towards a “Samruddha Odisha” and a “Viksit Bharat.”

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended greetings to BJP workers and paid tribute to visionary leaders who strengthened the organization through service and principles.

Pradhan added that under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, party workers are actively contributing towards the goal of a developed India.
