A Divine Moment in Ayodhya — Sri Ram Temple Stands Complete, Flag of Dharma Rises High
A historic day in Ayodhya as the sacred Dhwajarohan marks the completion of the divine Sri Ram Temple.
Ayodhya woke up today to a sight that will be remembered for generations — the long-awaited Sri Ram Temple now stands in its full glory, its golden peaks touching the sky and its divine aura radiating across the sacred land. The milestone moment was marked by a ceremony filled with spirituality and pride — the grand Dhwajarohan (flag hoisting) atop the main temple tower.
Prime Minister Modi Performs the Sacred Ritual
In the presence of thousands of devotees and saints, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped forward to perform the sacred flag hoisting ritual at the temple of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram.
As the ceremonial saffron flag — 11 feet wide and 22 feet long — slowly rose into the sky, a wave of chants of “Jai Shri Ram” echoed across Ayodhya.
The triangular saffron banner, adorned with a radiant ‘Sun’ symbol and the sacred inscription ‘Om’, fluttered gracefully atop the shikhara, symbolizing the victory of dharma and the return of Ram Rajya.
The proud moment was witnessed by over 10,000 special guests, while millions watched through live telecast, their hearts filled with devotion.
A Dream Built Brick by Brick Over Five Years
After five years of tireless craftsmanship, devotion, and dedication, the final chapter of the Sri Ram Temple construction has come to completion.
For the devotees waiting across the world, the joy is boundless — a centuries-old dream has finally taken its perfect form.
The Pran Pratistha on January 22, 2024 laid the sacred foundation of the divine presence of Shri Ram. Since then, meticulous construction continued throughout the temple complex — and today, that journey has reached its fulfilment.
