A tragic incident unfolded on Wednesday afternoon when an Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar fighter aircraft crashed into an agricultural field in Bhanuda Bidawatan village, near Ratangarh in Churu district, Rajasthan. The crash occurred around 1:25 PM IST and caused widespread panic in the area.
Fiery Crash in Farmland
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a massive explosion moments before thick smoke and flames engulfed the crash site. The wreckage was found strewn across the field, and two charred bodies were recovered from the debris. Authorities suspect the bodies belong to the aircraft’s pilots, though their identities are yet to be officially confirmed.

Local villagers were the first to alert authorities after hearing the explosion. A team from the Rajaldesar police station promptly responded, followed by senior district officials including Churu District Collector Abhishek Surana and Superintendent of Police Jai Yadav.
