Odia Film ‘Mantra Mugdha’ Creates Box Office Magic, Crosses ₹1 Crore in 5 Days

Audience Rush Makes ‘Mantra Mugdha’ a Major Success

The Odia film Mantra Mugdha is witnessing massive popularity among moviegoers and has emerged as one of the biggest hits in Ollywood this year. Since its release, theatres have reportedly been running houseful, with audiences responding positively to the film’s storyline, music, and performances.

The film has now crossed the ₹1 crore mark within just five days of release, becoming the third highest-grossing Odia film after Bou Buttu Bhuta and Charidham.

Film Earns ₹1.07 Crore in Five Days

The producers shared the box office figures through an Instagram post, revealing that Mantra Mugdha earned ₹1.07 crore within five days.

Sharing the achievement, the makers wrote, “The mantra worked. Mantra Mugdha has created its magic at the box office and crossed ₹1 crore in just five days. Driven by strong word of mouth and increasing audience love, the magic continues to grow stronger.”

The impressive performance has strengthened the film’s position as one of the fastest-growing commercial successes in the Odia film industry.

Third Highest-Grossing Odia Film

Previously, Bou Buttu Bhuta became the highest-grossing Odia film by earning ₹7.15 crore in its first week, while Charidham secured the second position with ₹6.38 crore in India during its opening week.

With its current pace, industry observers believe Mantra Mugdha may continue its strong theatrical run in the coming days.

Strong Team Behind the Film

The film has been directed by Anupam Patnaik, while dialogues have been written by Pranab Rath. Additional screenplay and dialogues were handled by Nishant Majithia.

One of the film’s biggest highlights is its music. Five different music directors — Ashish Pradhan, Anurag Patnaik, Sangit Patnaik, Anurag Panda, and Raoumya Raj Pradhan — have composed the soundtrack.

The movie also features a song by popular entertainer Papu Pom Pom, which has become a major attraction among audiences.

Star Cast Wins Audience Appreciation

The film stars Suryamayee, Sanoj Kumar, Manmay Dey, Sarthak Bharadwaj, Dwipanwita Das Mahapatra, and Bhumika Das in important roles.

Supporting performances by Har Rath, Chowdhury Jayaprakash Das, Nishant Majithia, Soma Hota, Bhakti Das, Pihu Mahapatra, and digital creator Mr. Raut have also received appreciation from viewers.

For actress Bhumika Das, Mantra Mugdha marks her first collaboration with the production house, while Suryamayee, Sanoj Kumar, Nishant Majithia, and Manmay Dey have reunited with director Anupam Patnaik for the second time.
