Renowned Urdu poet and celebrated ghazal writer Dr. Bashir Badr passed away on Thursday afternoon in Bhopal at the age of 91.

According to reports, the veteran poet had been suffering from dementia for a long time. His memory had weakened significantly, and he was unable to recognise people in recent years. His health condition had deteriorated over the past few days before he breathed his last at around 12 PM on Thursday.
