Sainik School Sambalpur Announces Recruitment for Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts

Good news for job seekers as Sainik School Sambalpur has invited applications for several teaching and non-teaching positions. Eligible candidates can apply for posts including PGT, TGT, PEM-PTI-cum-Matron, Art Master, Laboratory Assistant and Lower Division Clerk (LDC).

Vacancies and Eligibility

The PGT vacancies are available in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science. TGT positions are available in Social Science, General Science, Mathematics and English.

Candidates applying for PGT posts must generally hold a relevant postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks, along with B.Ed. or the prescribed qualification. TGT applicants need the required degree, B.Ed. and CTET Paper-II or TET qualification. Different educational qualifications apply to the non-teaching posts.

For Laboratory Assistant, candidates must have the required qualification in Science, while candidates applying for LDC posts can apply with a Class 10 pass qualification.

Age Limit and Salary

The age limit for PGT posts is 21–40 years, while TGT candidates must be between 21 and 35 years. For PEM-PTI-cum-Matron, Art Master and Laboratory Assistant posts, the age limit is 21–50 years. LDC applicants should be aged 18–50 years.

Regular PGT posts carry a salary in Pay Level-8, ranging from ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100, while TGT posts offer Pay Level-7, from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400, as per the 7th Pay Commission.

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted offline by September 7, 2026, through Speed Post or Registered Post. The application fee is ₹500 for General/OBC candidates and ₹250 for SC/ST candidates.

Selection will be based on written tests, skill/practical tests and interviews, depending on the post. Candidates should check the official notification carefully before applying.
