Grand Finale Held in Bhubaneswar

The 61st edition of the prestigious Femina Miss India 2026 concluded in Bhubaneswar, marking a historic moment as the event was hosted in Odisha for the first time. The grand finale took place at the KIIT Campus 13 Cricket Stadium, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of glamour, fashion, and entertainment.

Sadhvi Satish Sail Wins the Crown

Representing Goa, Sadhvi Satish Sail emerged as the winner, securing the coveted title and donning the winner’s crown. Overwhelmed with joy, she expressed gratitude and shared her aspirations to represent India on a global platform. She also encouraged young dreamers to pursue their goals with determination, emphasizing that persistence leads to success.

Runner-Up: Rajnandini Pawar

Rajnandini Pawar from Maharashtra was declared the first runner-up. Reflecting on her journey, she described the experience as enriching and expressed confidence in Sadhvi as a strong contender to represent India internationally. Pawar also shared her ambition to compete at global pageants like Miss Universe in the future.

Strong Jury Panel and Competition Highlights

The event featured a distinguished jury panel including Zeenat Aman, Terence Lewis, Amaal Mallik, Ishaan Khatter, Celina Jaitly, Madhur Bhandarkar, Neha Dhupia, Dutee Chand, and Vartika Singh.

The competition began with 30 contestants, which was narrowed down to 15 finalists. Odisha’s Ayushi Panda made it to the top 8 but could not progress further.

Celebrities Add Glamour to the Event

Renowned singer Jubin Nautiyal expressed his excitement about performing at the event, stating his strong connection with Odisha and his fondness for visiting the Jagannath Temple whenever he is in the state.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar also shared his happiness about being part of the jury and mentioned that he had visited the temple earlier in the day.

Dignitaries in Attendance

The event was inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp-lighting by prominent dignitaries including Prithviraj Harichandan, Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das, Ministry of Textiles representative M. Beena, and KIIT founder Achyuta Samanta.

Hosting the 61st edition of Femina Miss India has put Odisha on the national fashion map, showcasing its cultural richness and hospitality while elevating Bhubaneswar as a destination for major national events.
