Report Card Assessment to Start from June 2
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will begin a comprehensive review of the performance of all ministers from June 2 as part of its preparations to mark two years of the BJP-led government in the state. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will personally assess the achievements and performance of each department over the past two years.
The review process will commence with the departments headed by Deputy Chief Minister K. V. Singh Deo. Ministers have been directed to submit detailed reports outlining the accomplishments, key initiatives, and progress made in their respective departments since the government assumed office.
Exclusive Report Card Format Prepared for Ministers
According to sources, a structured report card format has been prepared for ministers to present their departments’ achievements before the Chief Minister. The review will focus on policy implementation, infrastructure development, welfare initiatives, and overall departmental performance during the government’s two-year tenure.
The assessment process is expected to be completed by June 9, after which a consolidated report highlighting the government’s achievements will be prepared.
Government to Present Two-Year Report to the Public
Following the departmental reviews, the Chief Minister is expected to present the government’s two-year performance report before the people of Odisha. The government is also planning to announce several new schemes and inaugurate multiple development projects as part of the anniversary celebrations.

Prime Minister Likely to Visit Odisha
As part of the two-year anniversary celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Odisha between June 12 and June 22. While the exact date is yet to be finalized, preparations are underway for his participation in key government programmes and public events.
The state government will officially celebrate its second anniversary on June 12 with events planned at both the state and district levels.
Seven Thematic Areas to Highlight Development Achievements
The anniversary celebrations will be organized around seven major themes reflecting the government’s achievements across various sectors:

- Samruddha Krushi Odisha
- Sustha Odisha
- Nirmana Odisha
- Utkarsha Odisha
- Janashakti Odisha
- Kaushala Odisha
These themes will showcase progress made in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure, skill development, empowerment, and economic growth.
Vision for Odisha 2036 to be Unveiled
The celebrations will also highlight the government’s long-term vision and development roadmap for the period from 2026 to 2036. Officials say the programme will focus not only on achievements of the past two years but also on future goals aimed at accelerating Odisha’s growth and improving the welfare of its citizens.
Ministers to Hold Press Conferences
Departmental ministers will conduct press conferences to present their achievements over the past two years. They will also release brochures, booklets, and information materials detailing the progress made by their departments.
The government intends to ensure that its policies, welfare programmes, and development initiatives reach the people effectively and that citizens are informed about the benefits delivered during its tenure.
