Girls Outperform Boys as Odisha CHSE Announces +2 Results Across All Streams
Over 4 Lakh Students Appeared for the Examination
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has officially declared the Plus Two (+2) examination results for Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational Education streams. The results were announced by the School and Mass Education Minister at the CHSE office.
This year, a total of 4,01,623 students appeared for the annual examinations across all streams in the state.
Stream-Wise Student Participation
According to official data, the number of students who appeared in each stream is as follows:
- Arts: 2,56,707 students
- Science: 1,14,363 students
- Commerce: 24,621 students
- Vocational Education: 5,932 students
The examinations were conducted from February 18 to March 28, 2026.
Girls Outshine Boys Again
Girls have once again outperformed boys in the CHSE Odisha +2 examinations this year.
The overall pass percentage for boys stands at 77.97 percent, while girls recorded an impressive 89.45 percent pass rate.
In the Science stream, boys secured a pass percentage of 87.41 percent, whereas girls achieved 90.24 percent.
Similarly, in the Commerce stream, boys recorded a pass percentage of 86.67 percent, while girls registered 90.43 percent.
Overall Pass Percentage Across Streams
The overall pass percentages in different streams are:
- Science: 88.80 percent
- Arts: 84.50 percent
- Commerce: 86.67 percent
The results indicate a strong overall performance by students across Odisha.

Students can check their results online through the official CHSE Odisha result website:
The results became available online after 3 PM.
Students can also access their digital marksheets through DigiLocker.
Additionally, results can be checked through SMS by typing:
RESULT FOR12 <ROLL NUMBER>
and sending it to 56263.
Result Book Released at CHSE Office
The official result booklet was unveiled at the CHSE office in the presence of the School and Mass Education Minister. Officials stated that the evaluation process was completed smoothly and the results were published on schedule.
With more than four lakh students appearing this year, the declaration of results marks an important academic milestone for students across Odisha.
