Computer-Based Test and Trade Test to Decide Selection for Various Technical Posts at NALCO
NALCO Releases New Job Notification
National Aluminium Company Limited, popularly known as NALCO, has announced a new recruitment notification for various technical and operational posts. Candidates possessing ITI, diploma, or other relevant technical qualifications are eligible to apply for the vacancies.
The recruitment process will be conducted through a computer-based test (CBT) followed by a trade test for selected posts.
Multiple Technical Posts Available
The recruitment drive includes vacancies for several positions such as:
- Operator
- Technician
- Mining Mate
- Junior Foreman
Candidates are advised to check the official notification for post-wise eligibility criteria and vacancy details.
Age Limit for Applicants
The maximum age limit for certain posts has been fixed at 27 years. For positions requiring prior work experience, the upper age limit ranges between 35 and 40 years.
Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Applicants must possess ITI certificates, diplomas, or qualifications in relevant trades depending on the post applied for.
For some vacancies, candidates must have passed Class 10, while certain posts also require a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
Selection Process Includes CBT and Trade Test
Candidates will be selected through a computer-based examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions.
In addition to the written examination, a trade test will also be conducted for specific posts.
Application Fee Details
Candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of ₹100.
However, candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories, along with some other reserved categories, have been exempted from paying the application fee.
